May 19, 2022 Thursday

Left for Hawaii at 10:30 from St. George into SL. then into Maui. We met up with Barb and Dave at the airport drove to the resort then walked over to the food trucks and ate. We went to the ABC store and loaded up with a few things then headed back it was a long day for all of us so we hit the sack.

   

May 20, 2022 Friday

We all woke up super early just because of the time change. We sat out on the patio watching the ocean for quite awhile. We then walked down to Whalers Village along the beach it was beautiful but hot. We ate breakfast and went into some of the shops. We went down to the beach for awhile then hung out at the pool. We ate dinner at Hula grill. We watched the sunset at our resort.

May 21, 2022 Saturday

We headed to the road to Hana it was a fun day. We stopped and got banana bread and ate lunch at a side of the road stand. Super good chicken. We ate dinner in Lahaina at Lahaina pizza co. We walked along the shops and watched the sunset there.

May 22, 2022 Sunday

We kind of had a lazy day and sat on the lanai outside and watched the ocean. We played golf at the resort and went into the pool for awhile. We ate dinner at “Monkeypod” in Whalers Village It was good. Came back and Barb and I started a new series' on Netflix. We went to bed about 9 since we have to get up tomorrow for the boat ride and snorkeling to Molokini.

May 23, 2022 Monday

We got up around 6am and headed to Molokini. It was a fun day of snorkeling off the boat we ate lunch on the boat. We hung out on the lanai and pool again and David Barbecued chicken Kebabs.

Dave shaved his mustache off to snorkel better!

May 24, 2022 Tuesday

Dave woke up with a cold and a headache so Michael, Barb, and I went to breakfast. We went to Safeway and Longs to get some goodies and mostly sat on the lanai and enjoyed the view we went down to the pool for a couple hours and ordered a pizza and salad.

May 25, 2022 Wednesday

We got up and sat on the lanai again. It drizzled until around 9am tropical rain is so nice though. It was nice and sunny the rest of the day.

Dave still felt a bit tired so we hung out on our lanai again since the view is so fantastic. We also hung out at the pool for quite a while. We walked across the street to grab lunch and Barb and I went into a shop. We ate dinner at the food trucks around the corner. Barb and I walked out to the beach to watch the sunset. It was so pretty. Michael and Dave were watching “24”!

May 26,2022 Thursday

Ate breakfast quick and then hit Walmart and Costco for steaks and Salmon to BBQ a couple nights here at the resort. We ate lunch at Subway and headed down to the beach. Dave and Michael Snorkeled for a little bit but it was pretty choppy and then we went and hung out at the pool we barbecued steak and potatoes at our resort and ate dinner. We watched more of “24”. Tomorrow we are heading to Black rock to snorkel. Earlier in the morning is the best time there since the water gets choppier later.

May 27, 2022 Friday

It’s been cooler at night here so it’s been so nice leaving our windows open and listening to the ocean and the waves. We have an ocean view out our bedroom window. We headed to Black Rock around 8am. We snorkeled for quite a while it was so fun. We sat on the beach for a while then headed to Whalers Village to shop and eat lunch at the same place we ate breakfast the first day. I got my Hawaii pizza no one else likes at home except Steph of course. We headed back to the resort and hung out on the lanai with great relaxing views and by the pool. Dave cooked salmon on the BBQ.

May 28, 2022 Saturday

Walked over to “Slappy cakes” for breakfast. We drove down towards Wailea and Mckena beach (Big beach) we stayed awhile and watched waves break and sat on the beach. We ate a late lunch early dinner at Cheeseburger in paradise in Lahaina. By the time we got back and showered we have popcorn and watch more of “24”.

May 29, 2022 Sunday

It rained good last night and was a bit cloudy in the morning. We sat on the Lanai and ate breakfast then sat down by the water for awhile.

We decided to head to the Nakalele Blowhole. It was a beautiful ride about 35 minutes. We found a very cool place to snorkel I don’t know if we’ll go do that yet or not. We went back to the resort after we grabbed some lunch. We hung out at the pool for awhile. It started out a bit cloudy and since it rained last night it was super humid. Luckily for us the hike wasn’t so bad because the sun wasn’t shinning to hard on us. It ended up at the pool the sun decided to come out and it was nice. Later we drove to the Westin resort and ate at the Westin Maui Beach bar. The food was fantastic and the music was beautiful. We sat right by the ocean. We walked along the beach along the resorts and Whaler’s Village and watched the sunset. It was awesome. We went back and watched “24” again.

May 30, 2022 Monday

It’s a beautiful sunny day in Hawaii! We relaxed on the lanai for awhile staring at the view. We grabbed lunch at subway and ate on the lanai. We hung out at the pool and beach most of the day. We went to dinner at Dukes beach house. Then of course went back to the resort and watched “24”.

May 31, 2022 Tuesday

Our last day here we got late checkout at 3pm. It was beautiful again today so we spent the day at the pool. We went back to Lahaina then headed towards the airport. We ate dinner at Kahului Ail house. Our flight left at 8:30. We flew with Barb and Dave to Seattle then they flew to Boise. We headed to SLC then onto St. George. So excited to see my little puppy!!
